Waterproofed, tested, then tiled
Most bathroom leaks start under the tiles, where the waterproofing and the slopes were rushed. We take the floor back to the slab, waterproof it, test it with water, and only then tile and fit out. And if you plan to grow old in the house, we build in the grab bars and the level shower floor now, while the walls are open.
Why Choose Us
Membrane on the slab and turned up the wall, then a water test before any screed or tile goes down. If the test does not hold, we find out then, not after your tiles are laid.
We set the floor trap and the slope of the floor before the tiling starts, so water goes to the trap instead of sitting in a corner or creeping out to the door.
Moving the toilet or adding a basin means new waste pipes, and those pipes need somewhere to run. We check the routes and the ceiling below before the layout is fixed.
The waterproofer, the plumber, the electrician, the tiler and the glass installer all work under our contract. When something needs sorting out, you call us, not five trades.
Options
A slurry brushed across the floor and lower walls. The standard membrane for bathrooms, and the layer everything else depends on.
Stretches over hairline cracks and wraps the awkward spots around pipes and floor traps, where a rigid coating would split.
A surface that grips when the floor is wet, in large sizes so there are fewer grout lines to scrub in a humid room.
A long drain along one edge lets the whole shower floor slope one way, so there is no kerb to step over on the way in.
How It Works
We look at the bathroom, the ceiling of the room below it, and where the pipes and traps run. If there is a leak, we find the source before we talk about tiles.
Fixtures, drainage, ventilation, lighting and materials, with samples in your hands. The quote is itemised, so you can see what the wet works cost and what the finishes cost.
The tiles and the old screed come off so we can see what we are building over. Dust barriers go up, and the route from the front door to the bathroom is protected.
Pipes and wiring go in first, then the membrane. We flood the floor and hold the water to prove it is tight. The screed and the slopes go in only after the test holds.
Tiling, fixtures, glass and sealant, then we run every tap and drain. We clean the room and show you where the shut-off valves are before we go.

Where We Work
We take on landed homes across the whole island. These are the estates we get asked about most often, each with notes on the houses and the access there.
Your estate not listed? It makes no difference to us. Tell us where the house is.

We trace where the water actually gets in and fix the cause. One proper job instead of a patch every monsoon.

We design your home and build it ourselves. Moving walls, wiring, beams and approvals are our job, not someone else's.

Your parents keep the upstairs bedroom and their independence. Fitted to your exact staircase, straight or curved.
