Decide whether removal is necessary
Show the stairlift provider the renovation scope: carpet replacement, timber work, wall finishing, railing changes or a different stair layout. Ask whether work can proceed with protection, needs temporary removal or requires a fresh installation design. The renovation contractor should not make that decision on the equipment provider’s behalf.
